News : Hudson will become Jenkins
on 2011/1/12 0:41:33 (1722 reads)
News

The core team of the Hudson continuous integration open source tool has decided to set up a new infrastructure to become independent from Oracle. Oracle has a trademark applications filed for the "Hudson" brand, so the team decided to use a new name which should be "Jenkins". Negociations are still continuing with Oracle and it remains to be determined if Oracle will continue to collaborate with the core team or will develop Hudson on its own. This will determine if the project will just be renamed or will needed to be forked to completly cut the links with Oracle's Hudson.
