CounterSoft has announced the launch of Gemini 3.6, the latest version of its issue tracking software, providing teams around the world with clear and simple project management. Helping to keep projects on time, on spec and to budget, Gemini 3.6 features typical comprehensive issue and bug tracking delivered via a user interface that gets all team members working on the same project management platform.

The browser-based platform integrates with Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Visual Studio, Subversion SVN, and MSN Messenger as well as supporting mobile and occasionally-connected team workers through offline working with full data synchronization.  

A "Quick Issues" option has been provided in the latest release allowing for bulk issue creation.  "We've listened to our customers and implemented relevant new features and enhancements to make things simpler for project teams," said Kandola.

Other new features include Inline Editing, available everywhere, resulting in users editing data as they go.  Scrum, an agile software development method for project management, is also supported by Gemini, enabling software development teams to effectively track and manage Product Backlogs and Sprint progress.

Adding to traceability, POP3 Mailbox Processing now tracks and auto-emails external email submitters. Drillable Charts, PDF Export and over 40 bug fixes round off the raft of improvements to Gemini.

Existing users of any previous Gemini release can upgrade to Gemini 3.6 via CounterSoft’s website. To try out the software, a free three-user Gemini license is available to new users. Gemini is flat priced and a commercial license costs £699 with a hosted service for £1200.  Discounts are available for government, educational and not-for-profit organizations.
